New promotional material from USask collegesSeveral of USask's colleges have released new promotional videos and publications to showcase programs to prospective students this term. While not an exhaustive list, here are several available now via our website and social media channels: The Value of Arts and Science degrees videos and brochuresThe College of Arts and Science is the only college of its kind in Western Canada, with the arts and the sciences studied in one collegial, interdisciplinary environment. Students in the College Arts and Science, regardless of their major, can explore courses from the sciences, the social sciences, the humanities and the fine arts to complete program requirements. Video series: Get to know Edwards School of BusinessEdwards School of Business recently launched the new Get to Know Edwards YouTube video series to introduce prospective students to Edwards' programs and the exciting opportunities that makes studying at Edwards special. Video topics include an introduction to the college, information about the Bachelor of Commerce and certificate programs and ways students can set themselves apart through study abroad, co-op program and experiential learning opportunities.
Language Teacher Education Program publicationUSask is accepting applications for the new Language Teacher Education Program (LTEP), designed to prepare educators to teach Cree or French educational programming in immersion, bilingual, intensive and core settings. The Cree stream is designed with a focus on early years learners (prekindergarten to grade 3) and the French stream focuses on early/middle years learners (prekindergarten to grade 8). The college has produced a printable brochure in Cree, English and French to aid in promoting this program route to prospective students, available for download below, as well as among the other brochures on our website. Contact us to book a member of our team Update to mathematics requirement for the Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) The USask Admissions Office has published a clarification regarding the mathematics prerequisite for admission to the new Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) degree. Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30 (recommended), or the local equivalent of these Saskatchewan curriculum courses, meet the requirement for admission. Pre-calculus is recommended as pre-calculus mathematics is a prerequisite of several courses required to complete this degree. Find up-to-date admission requirements and deadlines.
