There's still time to applyMemorial University is still accepting applications for the fall (September) 2022 intake for general admission programs, including arts, business, environment & sustainability, and science. Additionally, the deadline to apply to Engineering One has been extended to June 1. Specific dates surrounding the application, including document deadlines, can be found on our Admission Deadlines page.
It is recommended that student’s apply to Memorial as soon as possible and not wait for final grades. Memorial’s course registration period normally begins in mid-July before most final grades are released. Students new to university are given the opportunity to register first for courses. So if students want the best course selection then applying before final grades release is encouraged. If a student feels they may not meet Memorial’s admission requirements, they can contact the Admission Office. There are normally a number of options available to the student depending on the grades obtained and the courses/credentials completed. If a student does not meet Memorial’s admission requirements once final grades have been released, there are some options to consider:
Memorial's Kickstart program is returning for the six week summer 2022 session (June 27-Aug. 6). Students starting at Memorial in September have the opportunity to take a university course prior to the start of the fall semester. All courses are offered through online or remote delivery. The course will include sessions on academic writing, note taking, reading strategies, student expectations, presentations, navigating group work and how to talk to your instructor.
