Admission UpdatesA reminder that many of our students who have received an offer of admission, will have a decision deadline of May 1. We encourage students to check their offer details in case their deadlines are different, and we recommend that students accept early. For students who have applied to Ivey for AEO (Advanced Entry Opportunity) admission, Ivey will release their decisions separately from us traditionally between late March and Mid May.
Accepting another school's offer of admission through the OUAC (Ontario University Application Center) does not have an impact on their Western choice(s) as long as a decision hasn't been made on their application. If we release an offer at a later date, students can cancel any earlier acceptances they've made and accept Western if they've changed their mind. Also, accepting an offer from a university outside of Ontario will not have an impact on our ability to consider you for an offer of admission to Western. With the exception of Nursing, if a program is still open on the OUAC, students can apply. However, applications that come in after March 1st, will be reviewed pending space and availability in the program. Lastly, for any student who has indicated that English is not their first language, we have decided to accept Duolingo tests for admission consideration to Summer and Fall/Winter 2021. A minimum overall score of 115 is required; subscore results must be submitted with no section less than 100. What's Happening This Spring:We will not be hosting our annual March Break Open House this year; instead, we will host a series of presentations to cover everything that would be available at our in-person event, starting on March 16. More details will come shortly, so please keep an eye on our website for updates: welcome.uwo.ca/presentations. This presentations series includes:
