Applications Most programs are accepting applications for Fall 2024. We encourage students to apply sooner than later to be included in important course planning and registration information. Apply Now Offers of Admission Offers are being made on a bi-weekly basis for our Arts, Business Administration, Computing Science, Communications & Digital Journalism, and Science degrees. All other program offers are being made on an ongoing basis once an application is complete (transcripts submitted). Upcoming Virtual Sessions Explore the schedule and register at tru.ca/infosessions. Program Information Sessions: Have a specific program in mind and want to know more about careers, program structure, and admission requirements, attend a program info session. Discover TRU: For students thinking about applying for an undergraduate program at TRU. Join us to learn what it’s like to be a TRU student while we uncover the top 10 reasons to choose TRU. (Including how to apply!) Parent Information Night: Are you a parent or guardian of a current or recent high school student who is exploring post-secondary? They will probably look to you for guidance as they navigate the transition to university, so we're here to help! Join the Future Students Team to learn about TRU, ask questions, and gain the knowledge and resources to support your future post-secondary student. NEW PROGRAM: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering We're thrilled to share some exciting news with you - applications for our brand-new Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering program are now open! In this five-year program, students will learn to design cutting-edge hardware systems, develop software solutions and optimize computer networks. This program is truly where design meets technology in the most exciting way. Did you know the average salary in Canada for computer engineers was $94,575 in 2023? TRU’s first intake is September 2024. Explore the program Events for Students FREE Women in Engineering Robotics Workshop Saturday April 20, 2024 10:00 - 3:30 pm Lunch provided Only 40 seats available REGISTER Students are invited to spend a day on campus with the TRU department of Engineering to explore the world of robotics, tour the TRU Makerspace, explore VR, connect with current and past software engineering students, and learn about the future of Engineering. Student For A Day March 11 - 28, 2024 Lunch provided REGISTER Students are invited to visit campus, attend two lectures, take a tour, have lunch with a Future Student Ambassador (current TRU Students), and connect with a Future Student Advisor. This event is completely FREE and a great option for students in grades 11 and 12, and interested grade 10 students. Lecture schedule and an example schedule can be found online.
