I am writing today because Minerva BC is now accepting applications for our Learning to Lead™ STEM program!
This program is for self-identified girls who are curious about STEM fields and want to develop the confidence to follow a non-traditional path. We are looking for 25 curious problem-solvers in Grades 10-12 ready to connect with themselves, other STEM curious students, and to a network of inspiring mentors working in STEM fields. Throughout the Learning to Lead™ program, participants develop their confidence through workshops that identify their key strengths and core values. They leave the program with greater self-awareness, a supportive network of friends and mentors, and the inspiration to take on new challenges and opportunities. Learning to Lead™ focuses on:

All sessions take place on Zoom. There is no cost to participants. All program costs are covered by donors and sponsors who believe in the leadership potential of youth. Application: Applications are now open on our website: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/L2LSTEM The deadline to apply is September 25th, 2021. However, selections will be made on a rolling basis. We encourage interested students to get their application in early to save their spot! The Learning to Lead™ application has two components:
Applicants are invited to provide either written responses to these questions or to upload a brief video of themselves sharing their answers.
Please note that there is no maximum to how many students a school can nominate. Indigenous students are strongly encouraged to apply.
