We are looking for ambassadors who are passionate about youth health and wellness and/or have some involvement in youth mental health/substance use in their communities. Relevant experience can vary from building a wellness centre or starting a community dialogue. Applications will be accepted from individuals and small teams of two to three people. There is a poster attached with more information if you are able to circulate this within your community.
Applications are due by January 15th, 2020 and up to 50 youth (12-24) and family members/caregivers will be accepted. What will Ambassadors do? Attend virtual orientation and training meetings Work with your community to strengthen Integrated Youth Services Share your experiences and learnings in regular virtual cohort discussions with other ambassadors from across the country Participate in a community-led National Integrated Youth Services Conference in the spring of 2022 If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Alison Gear [email protected] and Suchayte Bali [email protected] directly.
