Good morning,
We want to reach out to give you an update about Green Shirt Day and April organ donation awareness activities, in the context of the extraordinary and unprecedented COVID-19 situation taking place around the world. One of BC Transplant’s priorities is to protect the health and well-being of the community we serve. For that reason, we will not proceed with or support any in-person organ donation awareness initiatives, speaking engagements, or community registration drives. As a result of BC school closures, we have also have also cancelled the “Live Life. Pass It On” Scholarships for the 2020 school year, due to the current COVID-19 situation in the province. We will work to provide scholarship opportunities for Grade 12 students in the 2020-21 school year. Warm regards, Alicia Alicia Di Cesare Coordinator, Volunteer Initiatives and Community Development BC Transplant [email protected] B 604-877-2141 Register to be an Organ Donor Live Life. Ms. GavelinWelcome to the world of scholarships and post secondary planning! I have been working with Valleyview students since 2005 as a Counsellor and their Scholarship liaison. I won't be able to tell you exactly what to apply for but I can give you direction on your journey through this part of high school. Archives
