We would like to express our concern and support for you, your students, and your coworkers, as well as all those world-wide who have been affected by COVID-19. With this in mind, we're writing to provide you with online resources to help you stay up to date on UVic admissions for September 2020.
First, UVic has created a website (uvic.ca/covid-19) to keep our community informed as the situation evolves. This website is the definitive source for UVic's response to COVID-19, including official statements from our leaders. We encourage you to check regularly. For high school students applying to UVic for September 2020, we've set up a separate webpage: Information for applicants and admitted students affected by COVID-19. This page focuses specifically on the important questions that students have about their applications and scholarships and is being updated regularly as new information becomes available. UVic admissions staff is diligently working to ensure that applications are evaluated fairly and as quickly as possible, and our recruiters are standing by if you have questions or concerns you'd like to discuss. You can email your school's recruiter directly, or respond to this email. Please note that if your students have specific questions about their applications, you should direct them to contact their admission assistant for personalized service. Wishing you and everyone close to you all the best as the world adapts to these extraordinary times. We're all in this together! We want to help in any way we can with these questions! As we do our part in practicing social/physical distance, we will be coming up with digital initiatives (digital student meetings, webinars, course registration workshops, and etc.) over the next few weeks to help support TRU applicants from your school and as well students still interested in applying to TRU.
